  • From August 2003 to May 2006, I attended the violin making program at the National Violin Making School offered by the "Cégep Limoilou" (Québec / Canada).
  • From June 2006 to July 2006, I attended a bow making class with luthiers/bow makers : Richard Compartino and Simon Bruno. This training was offered by The national lutherie school affiliated with the C.F.C.M.A (Québec / Canada).
  • July 2007, I have attended a training on instruments setup with the luthier Olivier Pérot in Montreal.
  • September 2010 ~ June 2012, Maker assistant for Isabelle Wilbaux.

Prizes and Bursaries

  • 2004 - Millennium Excellence Award (renewable) offered by the Millenium Scholarship Fundation. This bursary recognizes excellence in community involvement, leadership, innovation and academic achievement.
  • 2005 - The Millenium Excellence Award has been renewed for a second time.
  • 2006 - Prize "Reconnaissance en Métiers d´Art". Offered by the Quebec workshop schools.
  • 2006 - Grant offered by Millennium Scholarship Foundation to fund a project in association with the organization Jeunes Musiciens du Monde (Young Musicians of the World). This grant will allow me to build a violin for them. The instrument will then be auctioned during their annual fundraising event. The money raised by selling this instrument will be used to finance this organization´s activities.
  • 2006 - Bursary offered by Numériss Informatique as an award to a violin making school laureate to recognize academic achievements.
  • 2006 - Research bursary offered by The National Lutherie School. This bursary will enable me to do research on the use of wood/carbon fiber composites for a violin bass bar).
  • 2006 - Prize Félix-Antoine Savard in crafts. This prize has been awarded for the quality of my work by the "Centre Commémoratif Félix-Antoine Savard".
